Through our Warrior Wishes program, we connect Warriors who have been affected by traumatic events with the resources that they need to move forward. Through the healing process, these veterans, first responders, and their families can create change for themselves and others who are struggling on their journey.

Direct Outreach
Andrew Einstein; a Police Officer and Marine, with his 4 legged companion Gunner travelled from New Jersey to support No Warrior Left Behind during their ride event. Gunner is Andrew’s therapy dog and is a very willing participant and demonstrator at educational events given by No Warrior Left Behind. Andrew and Gunner provide an example of how unconventional therapies can help those living with the life long effects from trauma related experiences.

Direct Outreach, Ride Events
With tickets received from generous donors in the community, police officers and veterans celebrate the Redskins out in the parking lot. Officers specially trained in dealing with crisis and trauma share good company and great food provided by Mission BBQ with injured veterans like Julio at this NWLB tailgate tradition.
Omar and Colton share a special relationship. Colton trained to be Omar’s wingman on NWLB Inaugural Bike Ride in November 2015 in case Omar needed him on the course. The 10k Ride was a great success and both Colton and Omar finished in fine form, celebrating at the end at the Wine Harvest.
